On October 9th the Christchurch Methodist Mission hosted a panel discussion on solutions to the older persons housing crisis as part of the Doors to Dignity campaign.
The panellists featured Dr Kaye Saville Smith (Chief Science Advisor to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development), Jane Wrightson (Retirement Commissioner), and Amber Clarke (Pou Ora – Principle Advisor, Wellbeing Whitiora Centre). The evening was hosted by Paul Gilberd, Chief Executive of Community Housing Aotearoa.
Thanks to all who attended this event and engaged in conversation about potential solutions to the housing crisis faced by older New Zealander's.
